Down Syndrome create awareness at Ashton

Transition Year Students recently made a  presentation of a cheque to Ms. Karen O’Sullivan D.S.I., being funds from selling chocolate bars during break times and during class periods.

Students listened intently to Ms. O’Sullivan, as she informed them of the work of this organisation supporting people of all ages with Down Syndrome to ensure they live fulfilled lives.

Students have participated in Community Action with Down Syndrome Ireland over the last twelve months, spending each Tuesday morning supporting the work of this most worthy organisation.
