Congratulations to the Science stars who came 5th in Ireland when they recently attended the Irish Teachers Science Association Regional finals in Dublin. They had strong competition from across the whole country, and ultimately came a proud 5th place nationally.  The team were Robison O’Dea, William Ronayne, Zach Lumley. Well done to each of them and their teachers.  They did themselves, the school and their parents proud.

Science Week was co-ordinated by the Science Department, hosting various activities including a Science Magic Show for Jnr. Cycle students, 6th Year students attended ISTA Senior Science Quiz in U.C.C. Nov. 16th.

Students also participated keenly in the regularly announced ‘Fact of the day’ competitions, Element quizzes, and many in-class activities.  Great excitement, fun and laughter at all the activities.  A triumph in ‘learning by doing’.
