Fiction Writers Published

Third Year students recently participated in Short Story writing workshops, promoted by the English Department at Ashton , as part of the ongoing development of literacy throughout the school.  Ewan Lynch and Emily Hynes both honed their talents  as writers of fiction with the assistance of Cork City Council.  Their work was recently published in a beautifully bound book entitled ‘Transmogrified Lives’, launched at the City Library by Lord Mayor Cllr. Mary Shields.  A superb achievement for any young person.
