Uniform List

The school colours are bottle green with maroon and gold.  Items of uniform must conform strictly with regard to pattern and colour. All items of uniform should be clearly marked with the name of the owner. Full uniform must be worn to school each day.

Uniform

1. Ashton neck-tie.
2. White or plain grey shirt.
3. Ashton v-necked pullover, gold and maroon stripe around the neck, school badge.
4. Girls: Ashton skirt or mid-grey trousers must be worn.  Skirt must be bottle-green and knee-length.  Skirt must be worn with dark green knee socks, or green or black tights. Tights must be plain, without pattern. Trousers must not be canvas, cords, denim or sweat pants material.
5. Boys: Mid-grey trousers must be worn.  Trousers must not be canvas, cords, denim or sweat pants material.
6. Brown or black leather shoes must be worn.
7. Leather deck shoes with thin white trim (as shown below) are acceptable. Any other white trimmed shoe must not be worn.
8. Shoes with coloured stitching must not be worn.
9. Canvas or suede shoes with or without white trim are not acceptable.
10. Runners and boots are unacceptable.
11. Outdoor Ashton Jacket – compulsory for all students.

All students must get their initials put on their Ashton Jacket.  This will be done free of charge by Cork Clothing Company/Hockey World.

Physical Education Uniform

Girls: Navy Physical Education shirt, shorts (any single colour, not Denim or Bermuda), white indoor games socks, appropriate sports shoes, towel, and swim gear (Second Year only)
Boys: Navy Physical Education shirt, white football shorts, white indoor games socks, appropriate sports shoes, towel, and swim gear (Second Year only)

Team Sports Wear

Girls: Ashton track suit, Ashton bottle-green games skirt for hockey, Ashton hockey socks, Ashton hockey shirt, Astro sports’ shoes for hockey, football boots for soccer, badminton racquet, tennis racquet and hockey stick
Boys: Ashton track suit, Ashton hockey socks/Ashton football socks, Ashton hockey shorts, Ashton hockey shirt, Astro sports’ shoes for hockey, football boots for soccer, badminton racquet, tennis racquet and hockey stick

Official Suppliers

All Ashton School Uniform and Sports Kit is available from Cork Clothing Company/Hockeyworld at Unit 3 Frankfield Business Park, Ballycureen, Cork T12 RPR9 (near Musgraves) 021-4311651. The uniform is available for purchase online at Cork Clothing Company (corkclothing.ie).  Appointments can be made to visit the shop to fit on items of clothing.
