Ashton celebrates the success of the Class of 2013
Wednesday, 11th September, was another exciting day in the school year. The high achievers of the Class of 2013 (those who achieved 500 points or more) were invited to return to Ashton for a special whole school assembly to acknowledge their success and to demonstrate to the entire student body what can be achieved through hard work and commitment. Of the 12 students in that category, 9 were present. Others were already on their way to college. The assembly was opened by Head Boy Glenn Healy and Head Girl Alice Walsh who congratulated the high achievers on behalf of the student body. After assembly the 9 students spent their morning giving advice to senior students and sharing the secrets of their success.
