Dear Parents/Guardians,

ACCS has informed the Board of Management that all ASTI members have been directed to take strike action on Thursday, 27th October. Pickets will be placed on all schools where ASTI members are employed on that day.

If the strike goes ahead as planned the Board of Management will not be in a position to discharge its responsibilities with regard to the care of students in its charge.

The Board of Management is therefore requesting you not to send your son/daughter to school on Thursday, 27th October.

The Board of Management regrets that this course of action is necessary. The Board has no wish to interrupt the education of students in this school.
