Arrangements for Hockey Practice

Dear Parents,

As the school hockey pitch will be unavailable for a period of time, it is necessary to put other arrangements in place to facilitate the continuation of the school’s hockey programme without further interruption.

Alternative arrangements have been put in place from Monday, 15^th October. From that date hockey practice will take place at the grounds of Cork Harlequins Sports Club in Harlequin Park, Farmers Cross, Cork until further notice.

The school will provide private coaches to take students to Harlequin Park and back for each practice. Coaches will leave Ashton at approximately 3.45 p.m. (to avoid school traffic) and will leave Harlequin Park at 5.30 p.m. to return to Ashton School for parents to collect students in Ashton School.

The following is the updated schedule for training times for boys’ and girls’ hockey teams.

We will endeavour to keep parents and students up to date with future developments in relation to the hockey pitch project. We thank you for your ongoing support of the school’s hockey programme.
