Announcement of Head Students for 2022/2023

In past years, Ashton School appointed two head students each year from our sixth-year group to assist with the running of the school and to represent the student body at school events.

For 2022/2023, we have appointed four head students. Our head students were presented to the student boy at a whole-school assembly on Wednesday morning, 7th September,  Our head students for 2022/2023 are Cian Dorgan, Mary Kelly, Julia McCarthy and Joshua Nolan. 

We wish to congratulate Cian, Mary, Julia and Joshua on their appointments.

The role of head student is a leadership role in the school carrying, among other responsibilities, the responsibility of being a role model for other students. Our head students will also represent the student body officially at a number of school events during the year
