Music students visit Cork Pops Orchestra event

Music Students in Ms. O’Brien’s Music class were enthralled at the Cork Pops Orchestra musical extravaganza they attended on Thursday November 10th at Cork City Hall. A ‘feast of music’ is how one student described it afterwards. Ms. O’Brien stated it was one of the ‘best ever’ performances she has attended.

The liveliness, dedication, enthusiasm of these students to attend practice and perform, lifts us all in the school. We love to listen to their progress and eventually to their enthusiastic performances.
Attendance at musical events is an important, and integral part of the learning process for those involved in music, therefore, much was learned, and gleaned from the students visit to the Pops Orchestra event. It is a ‘must attend’ event on the music department’s calendar each year. Well done to all involved.
